Greetings Delegates
It’s an honour to serve as the Secretary General for the 14th edition of VIBGYOR MUN, a conference that I have been associated for years now. I am really looking forward to the MUN and seeing so many delegates do their best in their respective committees once again. The essence of VIBGYOR MUN is to “debate, deliberate, and discuss” and it is this very essence that all of you must stay true to during the days of the conference.
It is a true privilege that all of us have a platform like this to voice our opinions and bring to light the issues of the world that truly matter and need to be spoken about. Thus, my advice would be to use this platform well. This year’s theme, centers around SDG 11, has never been more important than before, as the cities we inhabit are pivotal in shaping the future of global living. It is our collective responsibility to make the environment sustainable, safe, and resilient.
Do not hesitate to speak your mind, to debate at your very best, and give it you’re all during the MUN, and most importantly to have fun along the way. I assure you that this experience will be equally enlightening and meaningful for each of you, just as it was for me when I started out here.

I’m Shriya and I will be serving as your Director General at VIBGYOR MUN 14. It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you all to the 14th edition of the prestigious VIBGYOR MUN.
VIBGYOR MUN has always stood as a beacon of excellence, promoting intellectual growth, fostering critical thinking, and cultivating the art of diplomacy among its delegates. Reflecting on my journey which commenced with VIBGYOR MUN almost 7 years ago, this really is a full-circle moment, and I absolutely cannot wait to share this journey with you all!
VIBGYOR MUN has truly been instrumental in my personal growth, boosted my confidence and interpersonal skills, gifted me with unforgettable memories and helped me become the person I am today. In the spirit of collaboration and constructive dialogue, I encourage each delegate to approach the conference with an open mind, ready to embrace diverse perspectives and engage in respectful and inclusive discussions. As your Director General, I assure you that the Secretariat has spared no effort in ensuring that VIBGYOR MUN offers an exceptional experience to all participating.

I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to each of you at the highly anticipated VIBGYOR Model United Nations 2024! My name is Nandika H, and it is with immense enthusiasm and dedication that I assume the role of ‘Charge d’Affaires’ for this year’s event.
Currently, in my sophomore year at Ashoka University, I am pursuing a double major in Economics and Political Science, with a Minor in International Relations. Having actively participated as a delegate and chaired various committees over the years, my journey to becoming an effective conversationalist has been marked by long hours, consistency, and a relentless pursuit of motivation.
As a fervent advocate for positive change, I am excited to share a recent milestone in my journey. I had the privilege of working with the UNDP Headquarters in New Delhi on the National Multidimensional Poverty Index, gaining invaluable insights into the United Nations’ role in policymaking.
In my capacity as ‘Charge d’Affaires,’ drawing upon this wealth of experience, I am committed to ensuring the seamless functioning of all our committees and elevating the quality of this conference. Together, let’s elevate the quality of this conference, and create memorable experiences for each participant through insightful discussions and collaborative problem-solving.

On behalf of the entire team, it is my honour and privilege to extend a warm welcome to each of you to VIBGYOR MUN 14 as we embark on this journey together to uphold the principles of sustainable development and advance the cause of humanity. In embracing the ethos of SDG 11, we acknowledge the profound impact that urbanisation and sustainable development have on the fabric of society.
As the Admin Head, I will be overseeing logistics, coordinating with committees, and ensuring smooth operations throughout our esteemed Model United Nations conference and aim to make this conference a memorable one for all of you!
As the Admin Head I will be managing the administrative tasks essential for the efficient functioning of our Secretariat as well. The organising team has meticulously planned and given attention to detail, and we sincerely hope to deliver an exceptional experience that inspires and educates all the delegates. I’m Dherav Mehra, a 17-year-old from Mumbai. I’m an avid socialite and a gym rat. Most days you’d catch me at the gym or out with my friends making memories. A lot of these memories are at VIBGYOR MUN. Being a part of VIBGYOR MUN since 2019, I’ve seen the conference grow and it brings me immense joy to rejoin as the Secretariat for VIBGYOR MUN 14. Having had the privilege to assume this position in the past, I cannot wait to form new memories and help create an amazing experience for every single person attending this colloquium.
As we step into this new edition, I am confident in our administrative team’s commitment to seamless organisation and creating an environment conducive to impactful discussions. I look forward to working together towards making this our best year yet.

I’m Noor, a student at FLAME University pursuing International Studies and Economics. My journey with VIBGYOR MUN has been the most gratifying and it’s a pleasure to return as the Head of Press for VIBGYOR MUN 14. I started in 2020 and since then I have learned so much and grown as an individual through this experience. I wish the same for you as delegates. The International Press covers everything. From committee dealings to tea-time gossip, we’re everywhere and we know all. Through this committee, you’ll find your inner journalist and discover your love for photography. This conference, as usual, promises to challenge you, inspire you, and give you everlasting memories.
