Greetings delegates!

I am Vanshika Thacker and it’s my honour to serve as your chair for VIBGYOR MUN 14. I have been a part of the MUN circuit for over 5 years now. Having attended numerous conferences over the years, I’ve participated in most of them. Through my experience in over 20 conferences, as a working delegate and executive board member, I’ve developed a passionate interest in international relations, diplomacy, and global politics. With every conference, I’ve seen myself grow as an individual, from a nervous delegate to a responsible citizen with zeal towards social change and an individual fearless of voicing out her opinions. Today here I am, motivated and focused as ever, wanting to lead our committee into the most engaging and productive debates.

I am currently a first-year student at King’s College London, pursuing Liberal Arts, and majoring in Politics. Having trained in dance for over 8 years, holding a diploma in fine arts, and a burning passion for theatre and film I have always been culturally inclined and drawn toward expressing my views through creative forms. If not MUNs you’re sure to find me performing on stage. MUNs have made a great contribution to who I am as a person today and I hope that by the end of this conference, you find yourself more knowledgeable and confident as an individual. With my passion for diplomacy and experience, I hope to do justice to the role of your chair..
