It is my proud privilege to welcome you all to VHMUN 8. It is a brilliant endeavour, congregating wonderful international concepts, empowering the youth and preparing them to understand global issues of relevance.
As you participate in this eighth edition of Model United Nations Conference, you will get a full taste of the complexity of International relations. You will gain a better understanding of the intricacies of negotiations, the challenges of achieving consensus and the patience required to win diplomatic progress. These skills will help you in whatever course you choose in life. This conference will bring together students from all the branches of VIBGYOR High schools to debate and discuss the most pressing and crucial matters that are faced by the world.
We hope to challenge and inspire each delegate with our stimulating topics. I urge you to make the most of your experience at this conference. This wonderful opportunity can be fruitfully utilised by speaking your mind out every time you get a chance and fighting fiercely for a losing resolution.
