Dear Delegates,
I feel honoured to have been given this opportunity to be the Committee Chair, UNGA.
MUNs were my launch pad to public speaking and understanding how to work alongside strangers with ease. MUN has ignited the passion for keeping up with global affairs and politics for me. I want to recreate this experience for budding MUNers like you and pass it on.
I strum the guitar every now and then. My taste in music hugely varies, having a preference for albums from the 80’s and modern pop songs. Catch me playing tennis after committee. I am a firm believer of Patrick Jane’s famous quote: “Certainty is the mother of fools.”
Having attended numerous Model United Nations conferences, it would be my pleasure to share my knowledge of the intricacies of the agendas with you.
I look forward to welcoming you in the committee and making sure that this is the best conference you have attended or will ever attend.

Dear Delegates,
I started participating in MUNs when I was in Grade 6. Since then, I have been addicted to them. Till date, I have participated in 80+ MUNs as a delegate, IP member, Administration and Security Head, and the most prestigious one, as an Executive Board member. I am the founder of Evolve MUN. Besides MUNs, I also enjoy dancing and reading.
I am currently pursuing humanities in Grade 12 from VIBGYOR High and preparing to pursue Mass Media and Communication for higher studies. Being pragmatic, I believe in meticulous research.
I wish for my delegates to be very well versed and well-spoken of with the agenda and the committee.

Dear delegates,
This is your Chair for UNGA 2, Siddhant More. I am currently a sophomore at O.P Jindal Global University pursuing Liberal Arts and Humanities. Although I am currently based in Delhi, I have been an active MUNner in the Mumbai circuit for as long as I can remember. VIBGYOR MUN is heritage to me. This place is where I made my debut as a delegate, an Executive Board member and as Director General. VMUN has always been known for its top class debate style and this year will be no different! I welcome you all to VIBGYOR MUN 13!
UNGAs have generally been perceived as slower and less eventful committees but I am here to change that. With the agenda we have at hand and the chairing style that I will equip with my co-chair, I can proudly say that this will be one of the best MUN experiences you will have!
Modern day issues and globalization demand active citizenship from the youth. With the forum and the platform provided for you to voice your opinion, I hope you can step up to the task and make it count! Prepare to be as efficient in committee as possible. Work on your weaknesses and step up your strengths. Do not shy away from stepping up to the challenge and lastly, compete with a true spirit!

Dear Delegates,
It is my great pleasure to welcome you all to this year’s VIBGYOR MUN conference. As a member of the Executive Board, I am honored to be a part of this dynamic group of individuals who are dedicated to learning about the world, engaging in debates and negotiations, and developing the skills that are essential in today’s globalized world.
VIBGYOR MUN provides a unique opportunity for all of us to engage in constructive dialogue, learn from each other, and develop solutions to the global issues that affect us all. Over the next few days, you will have the opportunity to take on the role of a diplomat representing a member state of the United Nations, and engage in debates and negotiations on a range of global issues.
As you engage in debates, I urge you to remember the principles of diplomacy: respect for different opinions, constructive dialogue, and the pursuit of common goals. Diplomacy is not about winning or losing, but about finding solutions that benefit all.
I also want to emphasize the importance of collaboration in MUN. As members of the Executive Board, we are here to support you and provide guidance throughout the conference. But ultimately, it is your participation and contributions that make this conference a success. I encourage you to engage with your fellow delegates, build consensus, and work together towards the common goal of building a better world.
Finally, I want to thank the organizers and volunteers who have worked tirelessly to make this conference a reality. Your dedication and commitment to promoting global citizenship and youth leadership are truly inspiring.
I wish you all a productive and enjoyable conference and I look forward to seeing the resolutions that you will produce in the coming days.
