Dear Delegates,
I would like to extend a warm welcome to all the delegates to VIBGYOR MUN 13. My name is Nandika H, and I have the privilege of chairing the UNDESA committee. My objective is to ensure that you have a wonderful Model United Nations experience.
I am currently in my sophomore year at Ashoka University, pursuing a degree in Economics and Finance with a Minor in International Relations. I have been in the MUN circuit as a delegate for over six years and my journey to become an effective and competent conversationalist consisted of long hours, consistency, and a great deal of motivation.
I also run a non-profit organisation with the aim of providing quality education to the underprivileged children. We upcycle waste paper and convert it to notebooks while promoting sustainability. I strongly believe in ‘Being the Change’ and encourage my delegates to bring different perspectives, solutions, debates and ideas to the table.
I am more than thrilled to meet all of you. I assure you that you will have a comprehensive committee session and a memorable time. Buckle up delegates and strap your creative thinking boots! Always remember to raise your ‘placards’, research, speak, up, negotiate, and lastly, have fun!

Dear Delegates,
It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the UNDESA Committee 2. As the co-chair of this committee, I am thrilled to be a part of your journey in addressing some of the most pressing global challenges related to sustainable development, socio-economic issues, and the pursuit of a better future for all. Over the years, I have actively participated and chaired in numerous MUNs, representing various countries, and engaging in insightful debates on critical global issues.
Presently, I am pursuing B.Sc. in Economics at the University of Manchester. I am also an alumnus of VIBGYOR High NIBM, Pune. My education in international relations, along with training in conflict resolution and policy analysis, will enhance committee discussions. I anticipate our committee to delve into the complex issues. I encourage each delegate to actively participate and engage in constructive debates that foster cooperation and innovation.
As the chair, my role is to ensure an inclusive environment. I will facilitate our debates, manage the agenda, and provide guidance to maintain a fruitful and respectful discussion.
I look forward to witnessing your intellectual prowess, diplomatic skills, and innovative thinking throughout our committee sessions.
