Press corps committees are designed to represent the group of journalists typically present at the United Nations and other important bodies. At conferences, delegates in the press corps cover developments within GA and crisis committees.
They publish press releases and backgrounders on behalf of the Secretariat, issue biographies of new permanent representatives and senior UN officials and produce the annual round-up of the work of the Security Council and of the main session of the General Assembly.

It is an honour to be on the Executive Board for VIBGYOR MUN 13.
I will be majoring in Political Science and Economics at Liverpool University this fall. I have been a part of the MUN circuit for the last 6 years and it brings me immense joy to be the Head of the International Press Corps.
Promoting inclusivity, respect for diversity, and the advocacy for human rights is the foundation on which the Press Corps stands. Adhering to this, I look forward to making this the best edition of VIBGYOR MUN yet.

I am Devesh Mishra.
With a copious supply of energy, I am someone who loves to talk and socialize. A perspicacious person who believes in the ideologies of justice, equality, liberty and fraternity, I am a great enthusiast of political sciences and current affairs.
I aspire to be a lawyer and to contribute in the development and enhancement of our country and its judiciary.
I look forward to being the Sub-head for the Media and Communications committee, upholding the spirit of journalism and guiding the leaders of tomorrow.
